Popular Horse Extravaganza Set to Be Permanent Entertainment Attraction

The UAE’s popular equine-themed entertainment show is already planning for more spectacular acts and a longer show run next year. About to wrap up its first season, Al Saheel: The Voice of the Horse has already proved to be a hit success with residents and visitors to the UAE, and wasregularly voted TimeOut Tickets Best Selling Event.

The 90 minute long family entertainment show traces the history of the Arabian horse around the world, and features an array of acts including trick and stunt riding, traditional Arab ‘horse-whispering displays, an American rodeo, Spanish dressage, and humorous pony acts, among others. The scenes are set to global music, dance, and a variety of special effects.

“We are thrilled with the response we had this season,” said Eileen Verdieck, Co-Founder of show producer HoofbeatZ Entertainment, and conceptualization artist for the Al Saheel show. “We designed the show to appeal to a broad base of people, not just horse-lovers, and we have achieved that. People of all ages and backgrounds have flocked to Al Saheel, and our reviews have been great. Our performance and technical teams are already busy planning new acts and special effects for our re-opening,” she added.

The show crew are planning a re-vamp of the HoofbeatZ Pavilion, the specially built air conditioned tented structure which is the home of the Al Saheel show. Upgrades will include more comfortable seating, additional staging, and lighting and technical enhancements.

For those of you who have not already seen this creative and inspiring home – grown Dubai show, Al Saheel: The Voice of the Horse will continue to run every weekend at the HoofbeatZ Pavilion located within the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club, Arabian Ranches in Dubai until the end of June. Spectacular Horse Extravaganza Set to Thrill UAE Audiences

"Al Saheel - The Voice of the Horse" celebrates the history and influence of the Residents and visitors to the UAE are set to be thrilled with the opening of Al Saheel: The Voice of the Horse, an equine-themed extravaganza scheduled to open in late March. Featuring specially-trained performing horses, riders, and entertainment acts, Al Saheel will trace the history and influence of the Arabian horse around the world.

Acts will include traditional Spanish dressage, stunt riding, humorous tricks, and liberty acts that showcase the traditional Arab Bedioun skills of equine communication, to name but a few. Designed to attract those with no prior knowledge of horses as well as equine enthusiasts, Al Saheel will combine sound, lighting, music, costumes, dancers, and horses to create a magical evening sure to hold wide appeal.

"We wanted to produce a show that would be enjoyed by families and furthermore offer an affordable and alternative form of entertainment to all," said Eileen Verdieck, the Co-Founder of HoofbeatZ™ Entertainment and concept creator for Al Saheel. "Our stables house the widest variety of horse breeds in the country, and Al Saheel will allow everyone to see and appreciate the beauty, intelligence, and grace of the horse."

The HoofbeatZ™ horses include stunning Spanish Andalusian dressage horses, mighty black Fresians from Europe, American Morgans and Quarter horses, pintos, miniature horses, and a whole herd of beautiful Arabians, some of whom were rescue horses that have been completely re-trained and rehabilitated by the HoofbeatZ™ training team.

"The utmost care goes into our horses as they are our stars. We keep a full time staff of equine care specialists including physio-therapists and equine behavioral experts and we only use low stress forms of training where the horse is asked, encouraged, and rewarded to perform an activity, as opposed to using force or anything stressful to the animal," said Verdieck.

"We hope to encourage a further interest in our horses, and we will also offer a "Behind the Scenes" tour of the HoofbeatZ™ Stables for those who are interested in addition to special programmes and equine educational workshops aimed at schools and youth groups," she added.

The 90-minute show will take place in the specially built big-top tented HoofbeatZ™ Pavilion located at the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club at Arabian Ranches in Dubai. Immediately following the show, guests can choose from a selection of dining and refreshment options including live cooking stations featuring Arabic snacks and delicacies.

Al Saheel will be staged throughout the year on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7:30pm throughout April - June. Opening night is scheduled for April 9nd. Limited HoofbeatZ Hospitality tickets priced at AED 350 for all ages include a "Behind the Scenes" stable tour prior to show time, priority seating, a welcome drink, and Arabic mezze served during the show. Regular ticket prices range from AED 190 and AED 110 for adults, and AED 85 and AED 50 for children aged 6 to 12. No children 5 and under will be admitted to the Al Saheel show.
